About R&R Greenways

A small conservancy with a long memory.

R&R Greenways is the nature conservancy and land stewardship arm of R&R. We work in service of the land we steward and the people who love it — patient work, on a generational timeline.

Origins

Why we exist.

R&R was founded on the belief that the best things take time, and that real life is enhanced by experiences worth coming back to. Greenways is the most patient expression of that belief.

Land doesn't recover in quarters. Forests don't return on schedule. We chose this work because nothing else we do has the same time horizon — or asks the same kind of attention.

How we work

Principles that guide the practice.

Listen to the place first.

Every parcel is its own thing. Before we touch the land, we walk it, study it, and learn from the people who already know it.

Native, always.

We restore with plants and species that belong here. No ornamental shortcuts. No imported quick fixes.

Take care of the soil.

Healthy soil is the foundation of everything else. It's where most of our work begins and where most of our patience goes.

Welcome people in.

Conservation that excludes people doesn't last. We invite members, volunteers, and friends into the work — carefully, but openly.

Partner with experts.

We work alongside ecologists, indigenous land stewards, and local naturalists. We bring resources; we don't bring assumptions.

Measure in decades.

Our success metric isn't this season's wildflower count. It's whether our great-grandchildren can walk into the same woods.

Our place in R&R

The slow heart of a wider family.

R&R operates a small family of brands. Some build experiences and digital products under R&R Entertainment. Greenways is the one that takes care of the ground beneath all of it — literally.
